Manja McCade — Chairperson
Manja is a passionate artist and long-standing activist dedicated to Julian Assange’s cause. She is the creative force behind the acclaimed Belmarsh Live project, which toured across Europe for two years, raising awareness of Julian’s story and the fight for press freedom.
As Chairperson (Vorsitzende) of the organization, Manja provides visionary leadership, guiding the archive’s mission to preserve and share this important history. She serves as spokesperson and is responsible for curating the archive’s exhibitions, with a commitment to making Julian’s journey and the global movement’s spirit accessible and impactful to audiences worldwide.

Carmen Goeddaeus — Deputy Chairperson
Carmen is the archivist and a devoted activist for Julian Assange. Over many years, she has been instrumental in organizing the Leipzig Vigil team, transforming it from a single poster into a fully equipped and organized presence with tents, tables, and everything needed to sustain the movement.
As Deputy Chairperson (stellvertretende Vorsitzende), Carmen ensures the smooth operation of the organization. She manages the archiving and preservation processes with meticulous care and oversees all bookkeeping to guarantee transparency and compliance. Carmen’s dedication is vital to maintaining the archive’s integrity and supporting its growth as a resource for education and activism.
